I’m a 13-year Rye resident seeking a City Council seat as a natural extension of my public service, committed to preserving our city’s character while tackling future challenges. I hold master’s degrees in Political Science and Nursing and a BBA, with experience spanning retail logistics, government personnel and program management, community health, and international diplomacy: as a Presidential Management Fellow at the Pentagon I conducted operations- research analyses shaping USAF personnel policy and resources; with the Joint Rapid Acquisition Cell I fast-tracked urgent equipment for Afghanistan; and with the Under Secretary of the Air Force for International Affairs I negotiated agreements, drafted a strategic plan for the Wideband Global Satellite System, and represented the U.S. at the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space. Since moving to Rye in 2012, I earned an MSN from Columbia, worked for the Rye City School District, and now serve at Greenwich Hospital and Village Pediatrics while volunteering with Five Steps to Five, the Rye Historical Society, the Rye Sustainability Committee, La Leche League, Cornell Cooperative Extension, and local schools. I bring a track record of managing projects and building consensus to advance responsible development, environmental sustainability, strong schools and infrastructure, and fiscal stewardship.
